Dr. Mary Nguyen, our TAFP Alamo Chapter Secretary was named the 2026 TAFP

Texas Family Physician of the Year.

The award will be presented during the Awards Lunch on Saturday, November 7, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel in The Woodlands, Texas.

2026 TAFP Alamo Chapter Medical Student
Scholarship Award

Elysse Reyes was awarded the 2026 TAFP Alamo Chapter Medical Student Scholarship. She is a senior medical student at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
